IUDone
Okay, maybe not exactly, "Here we go."
More like, "Here, put these condoms in the bedside table and try to remember to use them and think of it as some kind of old-school birth control fashion statement instead of an uncomfortable inconvenience while I enjoy not having pelvic pain!"
Seriously, since I had my IUD removed a month ago, my usually crampy lower back has been so much happier. I'm not yet pain-free. But suddenly I'm finding I can do things like unload the dishwasher and have an orgasm (not at the same time) without my back completely junking out on me. Score! (Ahem.)
Thing One and Thing Two
We're not trying to conceive. We're also not "not preventing," which is what my previous IUD removal was about - and how we ended up with Westley. The "planned unplanned pregnancy," if you will. But that's not what we're planning (unplanning?) this time. This is all about pain-management.
