Rathina Decor: Cutest Kid Contest Sponsor

In another two week wait! Wish me luck this month... Although I'm not as excited/anxious/nervous as last month.

But for those of you who have your kids up to win the Cutest Kid Contest, you are in for a fun surprise! And for those of you not sure what I'm doing this for, check out my March of Dimes Fundraiser post!

The winner will with an adorable switch plate of your choice from Rathina Decor.
She started making switch plate covers when she was redesigning my kitchen. Because of the variety of switch plate covers they used, she never could find a complete matching set. That is when she decided to make my own using fabric. Each switch plate cover is also sealed so that you can wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Just look at some of these adorable styles!
She and her husband have been married for 5 years and they have a little boy named Seth who is 5 months old. And one thing I love about her shop is that everything is so affordable! She this mommy has a sweet goal in mind with making all of these.
"I am trying to promote my switch plate store as much as possible so that I can try to stay at home with Seth," she said.
They also have two cats named Buddy & Bitsy.

She said her favorite part of her craft is probably the fabric shopping!

I am so addicted to fabric it is crazy," she said. "I have tons of bins all around the house filled with fabric." And jsut look at these choices!

Seriously, check out her shop because there's something for everyone, and every room in your house. There are also covers for all kinds of switches, and she can make them all to match! Maybe your cutest kid would love some of these in their room.

And if you love these so much and didn't enter the cutest kid contest, there is still a chance to win a free switch plate by being the 3000th person to follow her on twitter.

ElleBows and More: Cutest Baby Sponsor #2

Do to popular demand (I've always wanted to say that). I'll be doing another cutest kid/baby/pet contest in a couple of weeks, and the closing bash to the March of Dimes fundraiser! I'll start collecting your photos this weekend (winners can't re-enter).

Now you moms with your cute little girls in the cutest baby contest may be wondering what prize is in store for you!

If you're anything like how I imagine I'll be, you love to dress your little girl up. So I have the perfect sponsor with the perfect prize for your little princess.

Meet Lisa, the mastermind and crafter behind ElleBows and More, a shop with a little bit of everything for a stylish little girl.
Lisa has been married to her supportive husband for 4 years now.

"Although," she added. "If I pick up one more hobby he may leave me, just kidding. I tend to start several craft projects and I would say about half of them actually get fully accomplished."

She has one daughter, Elle, two dogs and one cat and live in the crazy hot desert and are anxiously awaiting their 70 degree winter.

I asked her how she got into making all of these things and she said it all began as she was desperately searching for a creative outlet and a way to stay busy and feel productive as a new stay at home mom.I didn't know this, but she worked in the designer handbag industry before she had Elle and she missed it terribly.

"I loved all the aspects of fashion and design," she said. "So, I thought why not start a small business, use some of what I learned to produce and market a product and see what happens. I knew I wanted to incorporate my daughter Elle's name and I thought hair bows would be a great place to begin my journey into kids fashion. So, ElleBows was born. I included the "& More" because I hoped it would lead to different things, and slowly it has. I recently started to add clothing items to the shop which has been such a pleasure because I LOVE to sew."

Just look at some of the things she makes! She told me her favorite part about her shop is honestly, the people I have come to know because of it.

"I have 'met' the sweetest, most kindhearted and generous people through my shop, blog and twitter," she said.

For Lisa, making hair accessories has become a bit of a breeze. She makes them fairly quick now. The pillowcase dresses require much more time, but she said she's getting faster day by day!
With a competitive business out there of soooo many adorable baby girl hair accessories to choose from, it's great to be doing as well as she is. I think it's because of the love she puts into each little bow.

And what she loves most... Photos from her customers.

"I just adore the photos I get from customer's of their child wearing them," she said. "It puts the biggest smile on my face!"

She also donates a portion of her proceeds to charity. This month she's donating to Carter's Crusaders. Her blog also has a behind the scenes look at the life of a baby designer!

She is also donating some of her talents to help with my fundraiser! The little girl winner of the cutest baby contest will win their choice of a beautiful ElleBloom bow.So tell your friends to vote vote vote! Tomorrow I'll show those of you with the cutest kids what you're up to win!

Bonzai Beadwear: Cutest Baby Contest Sponsor

Cutest babies contest has gotten the most votes so far by FAR... Understandably... What mom doens't want to show off her adorable little new bundle? Oh man... I can just IMAGINE how I'll be. My poor hubs thinks I won't post that many pictures online... Ummm.. Think again! I wanna show off their cuteness.

Ok, just look at me--I'm already bragging about my kids and I'm not even with-spawn yet!

Well to those lovely moms who have their babies in the cutest baby contest I've got news for you! Since there are so many cute babies I thought we'd have two winners... One for the "cutest" baby boy and one for the "cutest" baby girl.

And for the record... I think ALL of your babies are GORGEOUS and I can't wait to have one myself :) Really... I was beginning to not really want a kid anymore until I started this contest! Now I keep visiting my own blog just to scroll through these adorable photos! So thank you ladies, for reinspiring me to wanting a child.

Now for those of your with little boys in the contest, there's still lots of time to tell your friends to come vote for you so you can win a prize!

Bonnie is a sweet woman, and the owner of Bonzai Beadwear.
I immediately became attached to her and her beautiful personality, but I also felt a bond when she told me she too is TTC!

"I am married to a wonderful man," she said. "And have THREE adorable cats, Mista Clyde and Chloe, and a newly adopted kitten named Hermie! We are TTC, and it has been a long, emotional and expensive road. Its very frustrating when the one thing you tried to avoid in your 20's, is something that you want so very badly in your 30's, and its not happening!"

And even through her personal challenges she's offered to donate to this March of Dimes cause and give the winner of this contest a beautiful pair of earrings. So let's help lift the spirits of this wonerful woman and check out her shop! Remember, Christmas is around the corner and Etsy is a wonderful place to find gifts for everyone! You spice up the decorate a room with one of these beautiful ceiling fan pulls!

Now I don't know about you, but when I think of beadwear I think of bracelets and things... And maybe something I made when I was a little girl. I know I'm not much of a crafter, but I had no idea all of the creative things you could do with beads until I saw her shop.

Bonnie said her love of art grew from a young age. "I actually started with crayons when I was little! You could not pry them out of my hands!" she said. Then, she majored in Fine Arts in college, switched to Graphic Design and thats what she does for a living.
She said she needed more creativity in her life, so she started painting on the side. She took a jewelry making class in college and then picked it up a few years ago. She makes jewelry and home goods and loves it! "Its a wonderful creative outlet!" She said.

The fun part for her is purchasing supplies and creating something beautiful out of them with her own two hands!

Bonzai Beadwear is a combo of hobby and business for Bonnie. She said she would love for it to "take off", but for now, any money she happens to make just pays for more supplies.. Which I personally understand. I'm going through the same thing with my dog collar business. But she said she loves creating! Just look at these wine glasses that were turned from bland to beautiful!
She also has a blog here. The winner of the cutest baby boy photo contest will not only get a button for your blog that states your baby is the cutest, but you'll also win this pair of amythest earrings made ESPECIALLY for this contest from Bonzai Beadwear.
Now if you weren't motivated before you should be! Tell your friends to go vote!! Later on this afternoon I'll introduce you to the owner of a beautiful botique for little girls, and show you what the cutest baby girl will be winning! So don't forget to come back!

Kathleen Cavalaro: Cutest Pet Contest Sponsor

Some people have been asking how to get their photos in this contest... I took pictures for cutest kids/pets all last week BUT if you REALLY want, let me know. And perhaps I'll do one more contest as a closing bang to the fundraiser... and run it the last week of the fundraiser!

My laptop has been sent off and I CAN'T WAIT for it to get back! Oh, and if you're missing my TTC rants... Go here, for today's new update.

If you're wondering how all of this cutest kids contest and fundraiser got started and how you can win too read this.

I've been having a blast looking through all of the cutest photos! Remember to tell your friends the polls are to the left! That's where I'm taking tally of the votes, not in the comments section.. Though you can still represent and tell who you voted for if you want!

Also, you don't have to choose one, you can choose multiple cuties!

Now, on to some of the prizes. I told you the winner may get a prize right? Well I found the BEST sponsors for you proud parents. First, for those who entered the cutest pet contest. You are competing not only for an adorable button for your blog that says you have the cutest pet, but also, a set of earrings from an amazing jeweler!

I want to introduce you to Kathleen, who has the beautiful self-titled jewelry shop called Kathleen Cavalaro. I can't believe she's not on Twitter but this is her Facebook fan page.
She got into jewelry making because she was a stay-at-home-mom of 2 under 2. And as she put it "There was a LOT of napping and not much time out in the evenings," she said, "I am one who cannot just sit still and watch tv. So, I went through all sorts of crafty ventures like knitting/crocheting, needlepoint, etc. Then I walked into a bead store and was floored by the amazing stones. I was immediately addicted. I took classes at the local bead store here and there until I just took what I learned and modified things to fit my own style." And now here she is with a full shop! Not only that... But I found out she's made necklaces like this for celebrities! Yep, that's right, we have a celebrity jeweler on our hands! Her kids are Sophie - age 8 and Michael - age 6. They are both in school and she spend her days making jewelry and trying to make her Etsy shop work (which she said, seems like a full time job!).

Fitting with the cutest pet contest, she has two cute pets herself. Two 1-year-old chihuahuas - Carly and Gizmo.

Kathleen gives to a lot of charities. She says she can't always contribute financially, and her children keep her busy but she helps that way when she can.

She's already helping my March of Dimes fundraiser by donating a beautiful set of french hoop earrings to the winning pet-mama! Just look at some of these choices! So if you weren't excited before, get excited now! Tell your friends to vote for your furry child, and remember... Tell them to check your number box to the left!

Also, remember to let them know about the fundraiser! This is all for a good cause! 100% of donations are going to the March of Dimes charity. I started this because I realized making a baby isn't as easy as I thought, so I'm raising money to help save other babies. Please let them know that March of Dimes is a great charity spreading awareness about prenatal care... EXACTLY what I've been studying and what I'm all about!

Thanks and good luck!

Cutest Baby Contest

I've LOVED looking through all of your cute baby pictures... And yes, our pets are babies too! I think you're going to have a blast looking through these as I have! Sorry it's taken me so long to put them up... you remember my computer problems... Yea, I'm taking it to get fixed in the morning!

Because I don't have photoshop at the moment (on my broken computer) I wasn't able to photoshop the numbers on the photos... Sorry, so you'll have to look at the numbers as if they're captions, and vote for your favorites! Also, leave a comment letting me know what you think of them all! I'm curious to know if you get all oogly-eyed over them like I have!

I hoped setting up this contest would be a fun way to get people involved, while also spread the word about the March of Dimes Fundraiser! There's about 40 prizes (and counting) up for grabs! So when you tell your friends to come vote for you, let them know the cause that's going on too!

But I know some are just so adorable it isn't fair to put them up against human babies. So I've made a special category for pets! Here they are! Vote for your favorite! The numbers are BELOW the corresponding picture.

Winner with the most votes in the baby category gets a button saying they have the cutest baby. There is also another prize in store too... For a little girl winner: Beautiful bows from ElleBows and More. The mom of a little boy winner: A surprise prize from Bonzai BeadWear (features of both shops coming soon!)

You have until 10/3 11:59pm to vote!
